I'm with you. What really bugs me about SS is the huge tax it places on the US worker, while US companies are demanding that workers compete with 3rd world countries to get jobs! For example Ciena, offshoring their 2 projects, they looked at what it would cost here, vs. India/wipro. The US people lost their jobs. Screw this. Payroll taxes have GOT to go. Reassign it in some way if congress doesn't have the courage to deal with cutting it. Dumping SS on the worker is antiquated if we expect to compete globally.
