AMAT same in the Austin area.

It the young people who worked hard to achieve skills and education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and related fields that exemplify a future that is unlivable, IMO, in this country, with Bush and those like him in charge.

I often think about the tens of thousands of young people now about a year or so from master's degrees in operations research, electrical engineering, vo-tech degrees in technical AS degrees.

I know quite a few, in fact.

There are no entry level jobs as programmers, tech support, tech writers, etc. anywhere in this country.

when this offshoring trend first started grabbing hold out here I mentioned it to some of the my friends as an issue for this war Bush was proposing. Their response was "it is only IT", "IT is antiquated, a rust belt" blah blah. Well guess what, on CNBC the other day an analyst was on saying GE just offshored 300 LAWYERS. We are fubar and we have a government in denial.
