I suppose I am making light of it, relatively speaking that is. I can't get as exercised over that as I can over the guy facing death for something he didn't do, for example. It's a matter of proportion. One guy doing time for a borderline rape he shouldn't have done scaring off thousands who might have done the same thing absent the disincentive doesn't cause me to loose much sleep. I'm not arguing that it's right, only arguing the proportion. Women have been abused by the justice system forever. And he could have kept his pants zipped.
