><>...Hi Blue...><>

Thank you so much for your kind words. They are much appreciated.

Blue you said:
"On this anniversary of 9/11, I take exception to all the "true believers" who say that the attack on the WTC is a sign that God is angry with us, or that Allah favored the attackers. God would not punish innocent people for the sins of others"

The "christian" right is so full of themselves that they reek with judgement and insincerity.
They sit in their tax-free, poor, desperate people bought- million dollar ivory towers, and make judgements on humanity. How dare they? They have lost, and rightfully so, all credibility with reasonable people....And not just for that idiotic statement.! How dare they?

You also said;
"Me, I believe that we simply don't know enough to understand why God does what God does..."
________
That is a truth I have come to terms with and it is that truth that surely sets my spirit free.

We truly are, all of us, too small to even begin to understand the ways of God. No matter what we think we know!

Again Blue, thank you for your wise words of kindness.

Have good day
Shalom...><>

Re: "God would not punish innocent people for the sins of others."

You are assuming that there are "innocent" people in the world. How does that match with the concept that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God?"

Best wishes,

I2

I agree and God certainly had nothing to do with it at all. God created man and gave him free will and set things in motion. Why do people think God micro manages the universe? And there is also the will of the evil side of the universe at work. Lucifer and his 1/3rd of the angels that rebelled. And men who choose to follow evil. There are many forces at work that are capable of great evil, including our own government. And the Christian church today, what a mess. I don't even know where to begin on that one.
