We have lost 3 million jobs in 3 years in this country, 100K last month alone.

Because salaries in the US are too high. Maybe a normal CSCO employee with 6 years experience is only worth $40k, not $80k. Companies only offshore to save labor cost - if you think jobs should stay onshore then argue for salary deflation.

Re: All I know about Cisco is I was there in 99 and every building was full, the healthclub had a tent on the outside with so many people. The place was an exploding beehive, there was no parking. Now half the bldgs are empty, plenty of parking. What happened.

Is it possible you are witnessing a California problem more than a national flight? Lots of companies are moving everything they can away from California taxes, workers comp, permit problems, etc. I suspect you're looking at their California parking lots.
