When I was thirteen I had pneumonia, spent two weeks in an oxygen tent, and it was touch and go. I spent more than a month in the hospital and only got to go home then because it was Christmas. Anyway, some of my school friends came to visit me including a boy on whom I had a crush. I remember being self conscious about lying in a bed dressed in pajamas in his presence. To me, pajamas and beds were sex related and verboten. Like I said, I was thirteen. I could not differentiate a medical situation from a sexual situation. Eventually, I grew up. Seems to me that a prospective masseur who can't make that distinction or is preoccupied with the fear that his clients can't make that distinction is stuck in puberty.
