<<I never understood why they simply don't get their medical insurance independently like I did>>

Ever try to buy an individual policy when you or any member of your family has a preexisting condition (of any sort)? HO HO HO!

Grace:

LOL!!

Oh so true (although today, the kids play with a full face mask, which sure as heck makes this old man happy). (g)

I can't speak about the US system, only about ours. It isn't cheap up here, but it works... quite well, from my point of view.

Best, Earlie

Big deal..so you have a catastrophic plan with a huge deductible and so full of exclusions they have a 1000 page book on what is not covered..and no drug plan i bet..
I'd like to hear if you ever used it 'cause every plan i've seen won't kick in till you have $20k racked up with a ceiling of $1m.
So bottom line is you go broke anyway because if your so ill to be able to use that plan your to ill to work.
