I recognize the beauty of it. Just reluctant to add more laws without a compelling reason, however beautifully designed. So many self-employed are really just servicing friends so it rubs up against freedom of association. I had a maid like that once. I have Tucson relatives who do little chores for a few extra bucks, strictly word of mouth. None of them would discriminate against anyone, but I'd hate to see them have to explain in court why they have no black clients. There's a valid reason, Tucson demographics, but I don't see how it serves society for them to have to produce it in court.
