Gore had more votes than Bush when totaled nationwide. But the system doesn't work that way. He was never shown to have a majority of votes in Florida under any scenario that I saw.

The news organizations performed the recounts that the Supreme Court blocked and couldn't come up with a different result.

Personally I'm glad we could solve the dilemma in the courts instead of in the streets or even worse, the barracks.

I'm not a huge Bush supporter but I don't believe that is a statement that can be backed up objectively. I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm "wrong."

Has he never read a book?

If prior two questions are answered affirmatively, has he indicated he is proud of this?
