Great, then tell me what our goals are in Iraq and explain how we are going to accomplish them in a nation that is not "cooperating" enough, as Rumsfeld so euphemistically phrases it?

Really? Where's your proof? I can clearly point to times in Jerusalem, Baghdad and other Middle Eastern cities when there was peace and harmony among various religious groups, Jewish, Christian and Muslim.

It seems to me that the huge resentment of the West among Muslims today is something that the West has brought upon itself by the vicious actions of the Zionists in Palestine, by the imperial grasping of the British in the last century, by American meddling for decades and now based on the U.S.'s illegal and immoral invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Before the West became so greedy about the assets of the Middle East there was peace. Why are you now blaming the anger of those we are attempting to enslave on the victims themselves?
