Once a Bushie always a Bushie. Do you think Clinton would have got us into this quagmire? Sadaam still lives, Bin Laden still lives, the US is over its head in debt. The war was supposed to be about WMD but now the spin has turned it into a war on terrorism in Iraq where previously there was no terrorism - but there is now. What an unholy cockup - I guess you're one of the great unwashed 70 % who believe that Sadaam was behind 9/11? Why do you believe it? Because Bush told you so.

Selectric,

Re: All the Bush-hating that's going on is little more than to divert attention from the Clinton gang,

I realize that you are retired. Until this post I wasn't certain of your senility. For the record, Clinton left office in January, 2001. You might want to make a note of it.

The tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001 was the direct responsibility of George Bush, whose DoJ cut back on FBI surveillance on favored Saudi Arabians, including those implicated in the 9/11 terror. And Bush was in charge when his man at the head of the nation's military response team to hijackings was Gen. Richard Myers. Myers ran a slipshod operation that many have called a "stand down". Two days after the attacks, Myers had a major league case of amnesia about the events of 9/11 during his confirmation hearings to become the head of the JCS. As you know, he got the promotion. What he should have gotten was fired by George Bush for incompetence and recklessly endangering the nation. Then Bush attempted to stifle all investigations into 9/11. This ought to be a huge red flag to any thinking person.

I'd advise you to take your stupid, uninformed and irrational hatred of the Clintons to another thread. It is completely inappropriate for a thread that is attempting to deal in a very serious reality, i.e. the criminality of the Bush team. You obviously are not.
