When you say it (and I've only heard you say this to me, and only about India), it means you don't want to read or discuss my controversial opinions about your homeland. Fine, put me on Ignore, if my opinions irritate you that much. You're in good company, as there are many Chinese, Americans, Israelis, Armenians, Chadians, Uruguayans, etc., who are outraged at anything other than bland praise of their country.
