SI is a private party where you can pay for a ticket to get in, but staying depends on maintaining the club's designated level of decorum. Since anyone who wants a freewheeling pissing match can go to Yahoo or RB anytime, perhaps SI can maintain higher expectations and aim for polite roundtable conversation after all. I know nothing about the specifics of the IDCC thread or the recent posts here. Just reiterating a principle that has made SI different all these years. I would rather keep high expectations and strive for a decent virtual neighborhood for those who choose to do the same. I use my Ignore button a lot and report gross TOU violations or spam when I see them. Fortunately, SI Bob seems to welcome that. JMHO as a long-time SI resident.
