9-11 happened on GW's watch, not Clinton's. Clinton handled the Kosovo crisis quite admirably AGAINST GOP criticism. Clinton missed hitting Osama and wasn't aggressive enough perhaps, but war was never his strong suit. if he were president today I'm sure he'd be much more aggressive, but you can't compare post 9-11 to the Clinton years.

What bothers me about Bush is his cover-ups about the Saudi involvement in 9-11 and the fact that he was warned on 8-5 about imminent hijackings and did not a single thing. His post 9-11 conversion was real, but too little too late to protect us. And his Iraq war is a real boondoggle. So much dishonesty, intimidation and hype. Much of the blood shed by our troops is Bush's responsibility. All because he had to rush into war alone. Now we know there was really no excuse for it. And that war has made us less safe, not more safe despite it's enormous costs.
