The only problem with Debka on mega-terror is that this is not the first time it has said mega-terror was on the way. Perhaps it was true before and the efforts were prevented, but there is nevertheless a cry-wolf aspect to the claim.

I personally don't think we'll see any mega-terror against Israel, at least not in the short term, since, given present Israli attitudes and the Cabinet OK, it would mean the end of Arafat's life. I don't think he's interested in being a martyr.

But Arafat was not yet done.

The obvious way to handle this now is to wait for the "cover" of a major bus bombing in Israel that kills 10 to 20 people. Then hit Arafat's HQ with a major strike designed to kill him, followed up by troops to make sure they got him.
