I could be wrong but doesn't this market look like an excellent short opportunity once again?

points well taken
it wasnt just the ice cream girl who was friendly to me
I encountered 50-60 people personally
every single one but the Parisien waiter was nice
very complicated
other city centers can be quite different

what most Americans fail to comprehend is the displayed harsh arrogance by us toward Europeans
we regard them as inferior in their political systems
(when we have far more corruption, lobbying, bought elections, chads, state bankrutpcies)
we regard them as inferior technologically
(when they have plenty of tech innovation)
we regard them as grossly inferior financially
(when we have unprecedented monetary inflation, corruption, intervention, leveraged securities, innovative gearing, etc)
(WE JUST HAVE A MONEY PRINTING PRESS WITH HIGHER RATES OF SPEED)

plenty of nice Americans despite the horrendous damage we do to the world
plenty of nice French despite many who dislike how we displaced them as European leaders

funny, the majority of my warmest and best friends in this world are of Italian descent
toss in a couple treehuggers from Seattle/Vancouver also

I paint with too broad a brush usually
but in all honesty, my experiences in France (incl Paris) were exceptionally positive, to my surprise
I still cannot get over how many extremely attractive women they had, from all ages

the funniest experience I had was to walk from behind a woman who sported an excellent figure, worthy of mild excitation for an impressionable young fellow as myself, only to find after passing her that she was in her mid-50's on the other side
a very odd feeling
imagine a gathering storm of lust, only to see a woman a little older than me
still a nice general warm feeling, just lacking some of the original lust
