Branisteanu who wrote (38256 ) 9/15/2003 1:32:22 PM From: Jim Willie CB Read Replies (4) | Respond to of 74559 points well taken it wasnt just the ice cream girl who was friendly to me I encountered 50-60 people personally every single one but the Parisien waiter was nice very complicated other city centers can be quite different what most Americans fail to comprehend is the displayed harsh arrogance by us toward Europeans we regard them as inferior in their political systems (when we have far more corruption, lobbying, bought elections, chads, state bankrutpcies) we regard them as inferior technologically (when they have plenty of tech innovation) we regard them as grossly inferior financially (when we have unprecedented monetary inflation, corruption, intervention, leveraged securities, innovative gearing, etc) (WE JUST HAVE A MONEY PRINTING PRESS WITH HIGHER RATES OF SPEED) plenty of nice Americans despite the horrendous damage we do to the world plenty of nice French despite many who dislike how we displaced them as European leaders funny, the majority of my warmest and best friends in this world are of Italian descent toss in a couple treehuggers from Seattle/Vancouver also I paint with too broad a brush usually but in all honesty, my experiences in France (incl Paris) were exceptionally positive, to my surprise I still cannot get over how many extremely attractive women they had, from all ages the funniest experience I had was to walk from behind a woman who sported an excellent figure, worthy of mild excitation for an impressionable young fellow as myself, only to find after passing her that she was in her mid-50's on the other side a very odd feeling imagine a gathering storm of lust, only to see a woman a little older than me still a nice general warm feeling, just lacking some of the original lust / jim
