lizzie, i liked it when russert stated bush said we would gain x thousands of jobs in 2002 and y thousands of jobs in 2003 and that we've been losingjobs instead and he asked some other question, too.

then he let cheney slide and not even address the fallacy of "trickle down economics" as applied to an over capacity economy.

i kept asking, "where's the PROMISED jobs the tax cut for the hyper rich was supposed to buy us?" while cheney AVOIDED answering that question with all he had and russert let him get away PRETENDING his foundational economic philosophy had been exposed as a TOTAL FARCE. bush should be held accountable. he PROMISED jobs if we TRUSTED him and we TRUSTED him and we KEEP BLEEDING JOBS. i expect bush to change hhis broken paradigm or admit he just panders to the hyper rich.

the only real thing the cut bought us was hyper rich folks with bigger bank accounts.

I think Russert was a little soft on him but of course you don't want the guy to have another heart attack on your show, that would be bad PR! :-)

sick humor, but very funny. I wonder who he'll be debating next time around.
