The same could be said for Israel's blatant attempt to sink the U.S.S. Liberty in 1967. That was an act in which it could be (and was) directly implicated. Since they did something that bold, there is no reason to think they wouldn't simply sit on crucial intelligence. Tom

Doesn't the concept that an intelligence service would be so highly skilled, so well equipped, and so determined as to concieve of, expertly time, organize, and otherwise orchestrate something like the terrorist attacks of 9/11... ...seem to preclude the inclusion (indeed, the existence) of "intelligence agents" who would (a) in broad daylight, (b) during the very attack, (c) right in the vicinity - laugh, videotape, and otherwise (d) act in a high profile, guaranteed-to-attract-attention manner? "There is no common sense reason for Israel to jeopardize its very existence, largely dependent on its US friend, to even remotely think about doing something like 9/11. I can't believe that anyone with an ounce of rationality could even post that. IT JUST MAKES NO COMMON SENSE." Jewish chutzpah at its best! I'm sure you've already heard about the documented cases where Israel used murderous terrorism against its allies.....Lavon Affair, King David Hotel, USS Liberty.. In all three cases Israel deliberately murdered their allies in terrorists attacks to further the Israeli agenda.

Solid historical data proves that Israel has, in fact, often used terrorism against her allies to further their geopolitical goals. Israeli terrorists have in the past disguised themselves as Arabs terrorists in an attempt to drive a wedge between Arab nations and America. The Lavon Affair, the USS Liberty, and the terrorist attack against Count Bernadotte and the King David Hotel all prove that Israel has in fact jeopardized temporary friendships to further their political agenda.
