"My basis is simply the stress level of constantly worrying about whether any given massage will take on a sexual element or not. I would think it would be extremely stressful for him not knowing when something inappropriate may occur. You say that he would handle it and I guess he would, but the constant concern would have to wear on him over time."

Now see that is very paradoxical to me. The only alternative, mojo's, in which the sexually charged scenario has been greately reduced and seems to work well, is assumed too sexually stressful; even though mojo has proclaimed on several occasions now that he likes his work, is good at it, has a successful business with satisfied clientele. You still just flatly proclaim it is too stressful sexually. huh...for who, not mojo or his clients...want me to give you a hint?

Ok. All of the stuff that has been posted (education, training) to counter mojo's position stresses how much therapists need to be constantly aware of the risks and mechanisms for sexual impropriaty while performing their duties. In fact the need to be "on guard" for mojo is practically non-existant. In the unlikely event that one of his clients got lost in fantasy and became sexually aroused or actually realized a homosexual attraction for mojo he is prepared to deal with it in a dignified manner (having already been described).

His stress level over the issue while performing his service is not even a fraction of what we are placing as a responsibility in the hands of the typical therapist according to the documentation you and solon have offered. And, though you don't seem to want to give credit where credit is due...the typical is not successful in this regard. Since there are alternatives (mojo style) it seems that the profession might be more advised to seek alternatives than all this beat the bigotry out of mojo balogny.

I think it's more than just the stress on him.

There seemed to be agreement on the position that he could not give a massage where there "might be" a risk of inappropriate sexual stimulation. But that potential "might be" is there every time somebody touches the naked skin of another. So, he can never be sure with any potential client that there won't be inappropriate sexual stimulation. So he can never take the risk of ever giving a massage.
