With regard to the female infant, Mojo is taking an excess-of-caution approach. He is disturbed by the incidence of sexual misbehavior so he is rejecting all female clients because it is a readily visible bright line that gives him enormous leeway. He's risk averse and wants a big cushion and a big bright line of demarcation. And this is not bigotry because? It's not that he has any reason to think that if Karen comes in for a massage she personally will cause any problem at all. It's that she's female, and therefore is assumed to be a potential problem. Right? This reasoning, of course, can be used by any person to deny service to any member of any group they don't like. Muslims blew up the World Trade Center so no Muslim may buy anything from my shop because they might use it in a future bombing. Is there any difference here?
