Ooh... anecdotal evidence of 100 positions in India that may or may not have actually replaced positions that would have otherwise been created here. Gee, what can I say when faced with such overwhelming evidence?

Liz, as we've discussed before, it is an economic fact of life that jobs go where the skills can be found at the lowest cost. It remains to be seen whether moving development positions to India or accounting to Mexico is actually, in the long run, cost effective.

In any case, anecdotal evidence of companies employing relatively small numbers (in the grand scheme of things) workers overseas is not proof that, as bugman contended, large numbers of people are losing their jobs here only to be replaced overseas. And that it is happening at all is not proof that it is a major economic problem as you, bugman and most of the Dems running for president claim it is.
