We are here on Silicon Investor,
once again wondering,
can we "go back to the future"
follow BobZ to where silicon was an investor,
between the markets,
not between members, as mud ?

Have we had enough,
had enough of rruff
where rruff is not tough,
but fears post farts, as if they are real darts ?

A bad example, as a rough example,
is,
"... rather see what people say."
"... prefer not to run and hide, but to be proactive."
"... fighting intolerance & suggesting changes [is] good..."
or,
its just plain,
rruff is not the stuff to dot the i in Si,
when the eyes of rruff contains not investment stuff.

How can BobZ remove or seperate non investment stuff ?

Non market boards have on board investment folks,
as non market threads are threaded by investment folks.

Where is the seperation ?

Currently there is none.

But did the orginal Si plan for one, or have one,
or did it simply assume it needed none ?

My guess is that Brad's and (i forget other person) focus
was to create, not regulate.

How about that Canadian situation,
the French speaking versus English ?

Same Canada, like same Silicon Investor, but maybe
different laws and rules and tolerance are needed.

Divide up Silicon Investor maybe, no border crossing
requiring a passport, but seperate TOU for each side,
one for the investment speaking side, another for that
side speaking religion, wars, politics etc side.

Different threads on each side.
Investment side, have no moderated /w banning.
Other side, only moderated threads /w banning.

Investment Side:
- Original company thread, no banning members.
- Additional company thread, moderated /w banning only.

French (non politics) Side:
- All threads moderated /w banning turned On required.
(aka) Let people censor until it comes out of their ears.

Two seperate components of Silicon Investor,
each having a seperate TOU and structure,
one membership accesses both components,
unless,
BobZ & Sheriff Matt want to go into non investments,
but then thats seperate sites and memberships,
like games, gaming, etc
BUT
Hopefully they learn from past mistakes of Brad + ?,
off topic, aka investment, of clubs etc
exclude race, religion, wars, politics
as other unregulated sites are available,
and Si & iHub will eventually be regulated,
yes, regulated over time to "push off" those hot topics.

Gradually take away certain types of freedom of speech.
Yes rruff, limit the hot button pusher, but also limit the
ability of those like you to react to their buttons being pushed
until the hot button pusher goes to another less restricted
web site board that has no Admin(s) in reality.
