You [write] response without [responding] to any of [Albert's] points." - Albert, These posts between Si & iHub members echo the above, as a made up e-mail from Sheriff Matt to BobZ :o) - "Bob, iHub members write responses to me without responding to any of the points I made about these conflicts." - What we have here is not a lack of communication skills between the members engaged in conflicts. Each side is very aware of the manner the other side will side-step and ignore points made from the other side that might lead to an agreement or understanding for compromise. Each side views the other side as unfit to exist along side the side they represent, no matter that 99% of those on their side want peace and an end of fighting such that all people on both sides can repair and build a better life. - Nope, that 1% controls the landscape of Si & iHub on boards and threads of individual companies having lost between a major worth, to near all worth. - Lets ignore the CFZ (clown free zone) type non stock places that harbor the best and the brightest humans that missed the boat and never arrived at expected places of achievement, so they gather together on these islands to obtain that realization of greatness in potential, not in service to themselves. - These conflicts we are discussing here are connected to: (copied from above) ... e-mail from Sheriff Matt to BobZ "Bob, iHub members write responses to me without responding to any of the points I made about these conflicts." ok, Now lets take this "home" (aka to Si & iHub). Each day this continues, the rate of Sheriff Matt's ageing process is being accelerated such that someday in 2004 Matt will actually be older than his unkle Bob :o) - So, Lets review your reply to me: - "You managed to write a lengthy response without really responding to any of the above 2 points.' - Unlike rruff, i do believe you might see that the "thing" being discussed here, as points by you, rruff, bux etc etc are NOT legitimate issues based on the WHERE they are being made. Si & iHub are investment discussions web sites, and that non investment threads and boards are included so as to keep the market place mostly on-topic, its as BobZ mentioned that we are human and carry other interests with us as we move from one activity to another, and this is reality and must exist on Si & iHub since it can not be un-existed. For example, BobZ's interests are part of who he is and is and will be, always. Bob can leave his Chevy Pony outside of the office, but the horses power stay in Bob ;o) - This is why Matt ages now at a fast rate that causes him to get on his scooter and spend hours looking for it, to capture it before it goes too far away from him. Lucky a few times Matt stopped it before it reached that old age home for silver donut eaters rest home. - Them CFZs are clearly an aberration to the model under which Silicon Investor was built from. Luckly iHub built in a defense against such stuff, but Silicon Investor needs now a combination of Clown Terminator + Expurgator. - Nothing bad about clowns, iHub is full of them. - So there are the owners of Si & iHub knowing that the first and last and only concern is to make these sites do what was intended for, investment folks gather and talk markets issues for buy-hold-sell, and off topics placed on them non market boards. No None Not other stuff of a negative nature like this board is trying to resolve. Nope, resolve it elsewhere, someplace that was built for that type of interactions. Si & iHub accepts memberships with intent to have members add investment content, and allows off topics threads and boards. - Hopefully eventually BobZ and Sheriff Matt will arrive at an understanding that the points made on this thread do not belong on this thread, and only arrived here because the past years of no enforcing the TOU allowed these bad seeds to be sowed and watered with tears drops and spit. I say up-root them. - If the rruff(s) and anti-Bux types would stop crying over these very very few people, their tears would stop and the plants would move their roots off of Si and iHub. - Yes Albert, but if rruff wants to grab hold of the roots of them bad seeded plant growth, then he will be transported off of Si along with the person who plants hate & anger. - Proof in the Pudding - I reversed rruff's post to me, placed his conclusion (aka) Action Item at the top. Read it and ask if BobZ (aka Si) is really involved. - "... the problem here for the administrator is 1)does he encourage/discourage this type of posting... 2) if so, does he prohibit what might be generally termed "bigoted" posts as difficult as that may be to define 3) should he "punish" those who are critical of "bigots" or "bigoted posts." Merely blowing the whistle and calling it a "personal attack" and missing the rest of the environment is, IMO, arbitary enforcement." From: rrufff I think we have another example here of a poster who largely supports theses on threads devoted to "hate," that is, for example that the US is evil, is controlled by Israel, or there are Jews everywhere, or conservatives are bad, or all but conservatives are bad... - end -
