To me it seems like the dems have 4 strong candidates who could beat Bush- Dean,Clark,Kerry or Gephardt. This BS about Dean being too left is offbase. The reason people don't like the real lefties is the tax and spend syndrome. Dean is a budget hawk so that really doesn't play. Kerry and Gephardt get treated like they aren't frontrunners but they actually are good enough to win against Bush. Clinton proved its all the cabinet anyway, if these dems choose a cabinet like Clinton's cabinet, full of young smart people who understand the "new economy" (I'm not talking about dot coms, I mean the up and coming companies that employ people under 40 vs. the smokestack industries that Bush seems to cater to who havent created a job in decades)- then things will improve. Both Clark and Dean have an upbeat optimistic aura about them that I really miss and we haven't had since Clinton, I have to say I would prefer one of them, but I will vote for Kerry or Gephardt too.

zogby poll was way outside and at the low of several polls taken in the last week or so...it runs against cnn fox etc polls. I believe the other five or six polls showed Bush at 50% or higher.
