G,

Do you have any charts with Cash and Cash Equivalents overlaid on AMAT's price and backlog? Backlog has come down, though it is still a very impressive number and has held up well when compared with the rest of the sector. Cash however, has been increasing every Q if I am not mistaken, from ~$1.4B five years ago to approx $5.3B today. These are numbers NEVER discusses by Barron's or the Bears. My question is what will the Cash numbers look like during a new healthy upcycle, if they have been increasing steadily during the worst downturn ever?

Long Term Monthly Charts of the SOX and its components:

investorshub.com

I did as many of the major indices and industries as well. What sticks out more than anything to me as how much further room is available for many stocks to move higher.

Although there is not as much apparent room for the SOX and its components as I see on many other charts.

Can the rally continue?
