brent, Well, Paul never knew Jesus, and the incident of bright light on the road to Damascus was not witnessed by anyone but Paul, himself. Paul has some good points, but goes at it in a radical way.

You may not have gotten the message that I do believe in God, and Jesus, as my Lord and Savior, but do not rely on the words written by humans that had their own agendas. All that Jesus asked us to do, was to believe in Him as Lord and Savior, which I do, and is all the qualification He requires. Believing in Jesus as I do, it causes to act more reasonably to my fellow man. I do lose patience with some humans, but wish them no harm.

God never asked anyone to believe in the bible. Those that touted the truth of the bible were those that wrote it. If you want to follow the written words of men, then you are missing the greatness of God.

Since the New Testament was written in Greek, why should we use the name they provided?

If you want to have the esteem of the heavenly judge, maybe you should use the common sense he gave you, instead of following the words of men blindly. I don't understand anyone that believes in men, so completely, can then attribute their opinons to a power such as God. He caused you to have a brain, and if you don't use it, you will lose it. Paul was just a man, and reading the words he concocted will take me nowhere. You are bestowing a heavenly crowns on mere human beings.

That's enough of that. This thread is no place to continue such a fruitless discussion.
