I tend to be free market also, but I think there
are now excesses in executive pay. Perhaps changing the IRS code to disallow expensing executive salaries and all other compensation for all amounts over $ 1 million per year - including stock incentives?

The key is more transparency and greater Board Of Director responsibility... All senior level pay and incentive packages should be made known to the shareholders immediately... With that said, we must keep in mind that it costs money to keep top talent... There needs to be better ways of measuring performance against pay scales... I can foresee red flag reporting services that scan all quarterly reports for compensation packages that seem out of line with company performance goals... Let's see how this progresses...
