<covered his AMAT short position? He never posted that he did so. His account according to posts he made here was large enough to leave the position underwater all throughout the stocks move higher> Does it matter. Remember he was fully hedged. Playing long shares held vs short shares traded. AMAT to the moon would have been just a mere net zero loss had he completely stopped flipping the short shares and just held them. He would have had an opportunity loss from not being net long, but the opportunity loss was being offset by the constant flipping of short shares.
