Does it matter. Remember he was fully hedged. Playing long shares held vs short shares traded. AMAT to the moon would have been just a mere net zero loss had he completely stopped flipping the short shares and just held them. He would have had an opportunity loss from not being net long, but the opportunity loss was being offset by the constant flipping of short shares.

I know AD covered because he told me so by PM. The way things are looking today, maybe he was premature. <g>

Take a look at a five or ten year chart and it looks pretty U-G-L-Y.
