I don't think an unwillingness to provide abortions prevents people from providing real help. And I think that its likely a majority of the people in the world trying to provide "real help" to others likely have religious motives. On to the replacing native religions bit - of course, they wish to do this. So what - it doesn't make them hostile to the PEOPLE. Replacing native religions is something that happened to our ancestors once and I can't say I think we're worse off for not still worshiping Thor or Zeus or Mithra or some other gods?
