I don't see real help as being so fettered. So we'll have to disagree on what "real help" consists of. People are their religion. Talk to any Christians- they claim to be willing to die for their beliefs. If you are willing to die for your belief, and think that by losing it you will suffer everlasting damnation, and yet you are cheerfully willing to go out into the world and wrest other people's beliefs away from them, I call you a destructive hypocrite. That "you" is an argumentative you, not a Brumar89 "you". Now cultural imperialism may be what our less than humanitarian ancestors did, but I really don't want to take them for a model, considering their methods- I'm surprised you even allude to those rather dark chapters.
