Well now wait a second. Computer Shipments and new orders decline, but Semiconductor shipments increase? And the second part is a bright spot??? Isn't it more indicative of component inventory flooding the channel and/or component increasing inventory at the manufacturers? And that is good?

I'm loving the competition if Intel and AMD in the new 64 chips. The competition will require lower prices, lower prices will require higher productivity, which, in turn, should lead to an increase in capex.

My hope is that this same dynamic will spread to memory, as well as other semi areas.

we'll see...
