well, it is amusing to watch the commentary on the democratic debate. The WSJ editorial board with Stuart Varney... LOLOLOL! Seems like the diehard repubs really are afraid of losing in 04, as they should be.

Arnold lost the debate. Hannity just did a poll at KABC and said Arnold won it. But KABC is 100% right-wing talk shows. Who else are they going to vote for? Such dishonesty.

In fact, Arnold was stripped down to size by a woman who isn't even a major candidate. Arnold did not offer one single concrete proposal, just exaggerated the doom and gloom, used slogans, threw up a few old statistics which are already out-dated and claimed to have spent a lot of time with normal people in Calif which was laughable. He also passed himself off as a businessman. Planet Hollywood went bankrupt. Other than that, Arnold used to own a restaurant and invests in real estate.

Arianna also exposed the fact that Arnold's big after-school program hasn't helped a single kid yet. Arnold had never told anyone that before. Plus she reminded people arnold accepts all kinds of corporate contributions when he promised to be the special-interest free peoples' candidate.

Bustamante also nailed Arnold for his "tolerance" remark. Coming from a guy whose family were Nazis, being "tolerant" of other races doesn't sound too good, especially when he's busy attacking Indian and minority issues. Very few minorities and women will vote for Arnold now. He'll split the conservative white male voters with McClintock.

If you think Arnold won, you're blinded by partisan loyalty. McClintock and the Green Party guy won the debate on specifics. Bustamante just held his own. Arianne also picked up a lot of vovers. She'll probably move up from 3% to 4%. Worst of all for Arnold was McClintock promising not to pull out. He made it final.

Arnold's only hope is that Grey is defeated then he manages to inch out a very cloe victory over Bustamante. But it's highly unlikely at this point.
