They used association to Machiavellian perfection. Americans bought it hook line and sinker.

They hinted at a link to Saddam an Al-Qaeda.

It worked like a charm. A majority of Americans are still convinced.

3 different things.


They hinted so strongly even Saddam thinks he has a relationship with al Qaeda. Your distinctions are chickenshit.

Americans are so confused at this point that they still think we have found WMD in Iraq. This may be in part due to ignorance but its also very attributable to the Bush administration's ability to perform double speak very well.
