Well "all Europe" was not in ruins yet. Not in 1941. That was the period of time when things were relatively quiet in Europe. The German's occupied all Europe and had been pounding England. America was not in the war yet and there was no allied bombing at that point. That all came later, after America entered the war. I do think that site does not have a solid grasp of all the reasons FDR wanted a war. It would help the economy but there were other reasons.

You mean to tell me that you think that governments never lie to the people they govern. That certainly is very enlightened, or is it gullible? I think gullible. And you think I'm being taken in by conspiracy theories while you claim all governments are honest. That's the most laughable theory yet!!

Here's another reason FDR wanted the war. The war helped show the need for a world governing body that could stop wars. Not that the UN ever has stopped any wars.

Jan 1, 1942 - Declaration of the United Nations signed by 26 Allied nations.

The globalist's were hard at work back then too.

Typical re-direction in an argument away from Albert's ridiculous statement of

with all Europe in ruins referring to 1941

I get lambasted about what the physical boundaries of Europe are. That to include a few cities that had been bombed. But albert said "all Europe" in his ridiculous statement. None of you right wing megalomaniacs pointed out the ridiculousness of albert's statement. Just attack me when I rightly (and with proof) point out that "all Europe" was not in ruins in 1941. And I went on to add that Germany was not touched at that time and the allied bombing had not even started yet. Then you proceed with the geography lesson ignoring the correctness of everything else I said. Albert's statement was ridiculous regardless of your political allegiance to him on these threads.
