My fear is... once we cross that bridge, this recall might become more common and will be one of the tools available for partisans (of either side) who might abuse it everytime a governor sneezes or farts. :-) Also Gordon, you will be surprised who I would have voted if I were a californian. Mclintock. This recall is mainly because of the financial mess and I would have voted someone who is more apt to clean it with a level head. This guy does know "every inch" of the government and seems to have proposed good ideas. IMO, the idealogy should take a back seat in voters mind. But who am I to pontificate ;-) All other candidates are a disastrous (don't know about Camejo - so I will exempt him) Too bad he will not win.
