I too, consider McClintock the best candidate. I'm inclined to vote for him and let the chips fall where they may.

This is no slam dunk "winner" for the Conservative side anyway. Arnold or McClintock, if elected, will have a tough time with the 60+% majority in both houses of the legislature. The governor's veto and the "bully pulpit" may be valuable for the next election cycle but the state is severely restricted from much change due to re-districting IMO.

I don't think you live in CA, right?
The problem is, for residents it is obvious McClintocks "starve the govt" attitude is overly simplistic. The problem is much deeper and hard to solve,it has to do with the way taxes are collected and allocated.
