As far as I'm concerned, if Germany wants to build a nuclear shield, go for it. Missile are already made by Diehl, so I'm sure they could figure out how to put a system together. German industry earns billions of euros every year from America's presence in Germany. And American troops contribute tens of millions of dollars to the German economy every year. Let me ask you something, why should we (the American taxpayer) continue to pay for this? Why can't Germany pay for its own defense needs? The cold war is over, we won, it's time to move on...
