I have heard California 20th in the nation, but even if it's 8th (probably counting gas taxes) what's wrong with that? We spend a lot of money keeping our environment protected despite the overwhelming amount of people who come here. We have cleaner gasoline mandated which people want as it makes a difference. We also have huge water problems to deal with and get back 20% less from the federal government than we contribute. Property taxes are some of the lowest in the nation. I pay only .05% a year. Arnold and others are exaggerating the hell out of our problems. And as for people moving to Arizona, that's probably because of property values. I said, let them move away. We have too many people and cars as it is. Everyone will still want to live in California.
