I think the race is much-much closer that this poll says and within the margin of error. It may be a case where people don't publicly admit they're for keeping Davis. It doesn't seem like the "cool" thing to do. But in the end it's the most reasonable and smartest. Cali voters are not anywhere near as "mad as hell" as Arnold claims. Cali is also over 50% Democrat. But Davis does need to make a strong push going into this last week. Maybe Clinton returns. After Clinton came before the polls showed a dead heat. Which means a lot of people could change their votes, millions of them.
