AHA, you may be on to something.

1929 = 2000, the peak of the bubble in radio stocks in 1929, and internet stocks in 2000.

After 1929 the depression followed.

But so far a depression has not followed after 2000.

This isn't over yet AS. A depression could still happen. Especially with a continued job loss and increasing protectionist measures from Congress. The 1929 depression had a lot to do with that time protectionist movement amongst other things. We are not out of the woods yet IMO. However I hope we do not see a depression as this isn't going to be our fathers depression but much worse.
