I know a wee bit about the intel business and I find the whole episode kind of strange in many respects? Who suggested Wilson for the Niger assignment? What were his investigatory credentials? Didn't anyone @ CIA consider that sending Wilson on such an assignment might call attention to Wilson and ergo, to his wife and her activities as well...??? Was Mrs. Wilson really an undercover operative? Why did Novak think it was no big deal to publish her name when Tenet called him on it...seems very unlike Novak and his attention to detail is legendary...? Very strange.....there could be something there or it could be a political hatchet job....and seeing Upchuck Schumer leading the charge makes me think its all about politics and not about the law...
