My impression of OCPI is they have a fair amount of money in the bank, but 1 of the reasons is in past the Japanese company that owns much of the company underwrote much of the R&D versus lately it appears OCPI is spending much more on R&D which I take means less R&D funding from the Japanese company. My impression is they are a component (SFM/GBIC) vendor and there are plenty of such vendors (that is reason Luminent sales are way off). Not a good place to be IMO. Other thoughts/comments welcome.
