It is kind of a no- brainer: if the situation deteriorates alarmingly, Bush is in trouble. If it improves markedly, he is not. If it remains largely the same, he will be very vulnerable, but it will depend on trends, to some extent. With most schools open, most hospitals open, all universities open, 90% of cities and towns operating under elected municipal councils, most electricity back up, 150 newspapers, 80% of businesses in Baghdad running (with more elsewhere), etc., it seems clear to me which way the wind blows. But we will see..........
