Do you think that it is a lie to call the United States a democracy because it has a Senate that represents states, rather than equal electoral districts? Or because the constitution requires agreement by both houses of Congress and the President, or by a supermajority of the Congress, to pass legislation? There is no reason to think that the dilution of democracy will go much further in Iraq.
