It's the bushies who had unrealistic expectations. I was actually saying a year ago that Saddam was a paper tiger and invasion would be the easy part. That should have been obvious. So why didn't the Bushies prepare for this? As if they are real amateurs in a big rush. What was the rush? At least they should have waited until they had Arab-speaking occupation forces promised from somewhere.
