Nay. These dedicated funds propositions are silly. They remove needed flexibility. What is comes down to building a road to nowhere or keeping CHiPs on the ones you have? The people who are against this initiative think that voters should approve all infrastructure costs, because this system doesn't give a sense of any tradeoffs involved. Precisely. Everybody agrees there is an infrastructure investment problem in CA, especially in the transportation area. (I hear that!) Yeah. In the Bay Area, there have been billions invested in empty busses and trains. Shut 'em down.
