RULE Nr. 01: Never own an asset from which government can take a piece of.

Someone is going to "see food" on property seating nicely at that street corner. Please remember that governments don't deflate. In the case of HK: How the civil servants will react when the next round of cuts come?

report on the LATAM Front:

1) Argentina defaulted. If the IMF gives Argentina respite, Brazil will default too!!!

FT says:
"Economists say Brazil requires accelerated economic growth to ensure its long-term public debt servicing ability and thereby help further tightening of its country risk premium."

The country has to pedal to stay in the same place and Lula can be forced to see the situation under the perspective of the supporters of a default.

2) Lula was assertive, both in Cancun and in his speech at the UN, because he knows he is holding LATAM biggest potential default and want to have a respite himself since he's paying his due.

A defaul is a possibility:

Well Jay....NAT did not get the renewal with BP.

While this should have already been priced in given the previous events in VLCCF......I'm sure there will be some panicky sellers in the short-term.

I'm going to continue to hold....collect divs...and wait for better trading opportunities.
