Tucker Carlson just said "I want Dean!" and that is the general consensus amongst the GOP. They know they can beat Dean with the same old Dukakisization attacks. "Weak on defense, appeases terrorists, small man from small liberal state, out of touch with the heartland, big spender, will raise taxes, blah blah blah". And some of that is actually true. Dean is easy to attack that way. However, they cannot do the same against a Silver Star winning war hero like Kerry or Clark. Those are the two they're afraid of, REALLY afraid of. No one else frightens them in the least now that Edwards hasn't caught on. Democrats all like Dean, but they are afraid of him running against Bush because he will probably lose. That is a serious issue.
