But even if he lived in a large metro area, he is still discriminating against people as a class- and that is a huge imposition upon the people discriminated against.

I'm not sure that I agree with that. I don't think that every person, or any group or class of people is entitled to the services or company of a specific individual who doesn't like them. Even if we changed the hypothetical to make Mojo more clearly the "bad guy" and say that he won't take women clients because he thinks that women were not worthy of his services because they are mostly evil, I would say that he is imposing anything on them. In that alternate hypothetical he would be obviously sexist, and probably a very obnoxious person, but that still wouldn't mean he is imposing anything on anyone.

Auntie K was invited by people who knew her and what she was like. The people who INVITED her, and put her in that situation, are the ones to blame.

Yes that is an important point. She isn't crashing the wedding. Still she is going to an important function for two families and if she has any reason to think that she would make one of the families very uncomfortable she might want to reconsider.

In our masseur's case he is in business.

As a matter of law, and as a matter of principle in many people's opinion that makes a big difference. It does not make nearly as big of difference with me. It might if he was conspiring with others to make sure one group did not get service but the hypothetical hinted at no such conspiracy.
