You can argue that. It's certainly been done. I don't happen to agree with you. I don't see the "injustice" in making businesses provide services to all people on an equal basis. I don't mind if people discriminate in their private lives; I actually support people thinking as many hateful thoughts as they want, since I don't like the idea of mind police. But in our business lives, where we really NEED things- like jobs, and lodging, and doctors- I fully support full anti-discrimination laws- for ever (or until people understand that they can think all the nasty stuff they want, they just can't go out and ruin people's careers, or deny them food and other necessities- and that's the same thing as saying "forever".)
